Welcome to the Emporium
Welcome, stranger. This is where I keep notes on the computers, servers, storage devices, and other contraptions I spend entirely too much time fooling with.
If you're wondering about the name, there's a short explanation on the About page.
Some of these projects work. Some are still being figured out. A few may never leave the drawing board. I intend to document all three kinds.
WHAT'S NEW
| Date | News from the workbench |
|---|---|
| Nov. 1, 2026 | The new site mockup has real pages, a proper Site Map, and fewer things pretending to be finished. |
| Coming later | Photographs, benchmark tables, more detailed notes, and whatever is currently making noise in the workshop. |
ON THE FRONT BENCH
Project 001: Jeeves & Bertie
Local AI, with supervision. Bertie is a larger language model doing research and drafting. Jeeves is a smaller model whose job is to evaluate the work. There's a controller keeping both of them from running off on a wild goose chase.
